I have known Chuck for a number of years now, and have taken pictures, info and such and tried to spread the word about this find. Now we are working together to clean up his yard and sell whatever parts are salvagable! At a minimum Chuck has 9 GREMLINS (early 70's) and 4 SPIRITS (1980's) that he saved from the junkyards along the way. He also collected whatever AMC parts he found along the way. In the next few weeks we will be stripping these cars and organizing the parts and listing our finds on this website. PRIME parts will probably go e-bay to get a fair price.
IF there is anything that you are looking for, let me know and I will check it out! Sorry NO V-8's! ALL 6 and 4 cylinders, majority I think are stick shifts. Many of them ran when he brought them in. There is a pile of 80's bumpers, if there is no market for these, then aluminum salvage will bring a good price. They have been accumilating since 1990, and not in a BIG hurry, but we are working our way through the field of Gremlin Dreams. Plus whatever is boxed up in the barn!
I will list what we pull as we pull it. FIRST I will make a list of what car, year, engine, trans, mileage and such with a pic. So check back often! UPDATED JUNE 16th, 2008 |

THESE CARS ARE ROUGH!!! Chuck started bringing them in 1990, so they have set in. There are many good parts left on them, even some seats with potential, Thursday we will be going out and trying to start them to know which engines are still usuable. Many were driven in. We are taking suggestions to see what is needed and will ship those parts out. We will then take off whatever appears to be usuable. Many fenders and doors have the rust on the bottoms as minimal. These appear to be salvagable if there is a market. He also has a number of grills and fenders stored in the barn, so as we move through, there will be more and more we come across. We welcome suggestions for items that are keepable! I guess I could keep updating a parts list as we go along and make that available to anyone who wants it e-mailed along the way. Doing our best to keep these parts in the hobby and to make a fair price along the way.
I will attempt to match the pictures with the actual car info, but I am a Gremlinman in training. Let me know - javelinman74@hotmail.com - Richard Estermyer |
